You may possibly know our names from our driveSRT social media pages and other sources but who really ARE the founders of driveSRT? That’s a great question to ask and after we’re finished answering it you’ll understand why this community site exists.
Justin “JT” Anfinson
Justin, also known as JT from his motorsport days, has had a passion for cars and speed since childhood. Receiving his first go kart in 1992, he quickly rose up through the ranks of competitive kart racing along the west coast of Canada and the United States winning 8 championships until his eventual sabbatical in 2004.
As Justin has always been mechanically inclined and had always worked on his own Porsche’s and BMW’s he went to work at an independent tuning and performance shop focusing on Audi’s, VW’s, Porsche’s and BMW’s to apprentice as a technician. He quickly found out that working on clients’ cars did not give him the same satisfaction as working on his own. So Justin moved on to start his own mobile automotive detailing business in Vancouver, BC in 2006 while at the same time starting another company with his father in the specialized trucking industry. Everything was going great until eventually 2011 saw the end of his automotive detailing business due to an over-saturated market with competition that drove service prices into the ground.
Luckily, Justin still had JT Hotshotting and was able to consolidate and focus his efforts on building that business. Today, the company has grown to a fleet of 25 units and operates out of a 1 acre facility in Delta, BC. JT Hotshotting has trucking divisions specializing in hot shot trucking (on-demand, time sensitive, dedicated transport for anything in any industry), white glove auto transport (enclosed and open) and boat transport (including sailboats).
Justin’s toy car of choice is a custom ordered Bright White 2015 Dodge Challenger SRT 392.
Stefan Geffke
Stefan’s passion for anything automotive related dates back to when he was a kid and his dad used to bring him to the Vancouver international auto show every year, as well as keeping him stocked with the latest car magazines. In fact he’s pretty sure he learned to read performance and engine specs before he could recite the entire alphabet! To this day that enthusiasm is still going on strong and has lead him to become an avid gear head and automotive encyclopedia (you should see his massive archive of auto magazines dating back to 1990) that enjoys working on cars any chance he gets. He has also recently picked up automotive photography which can be seen on our driveSRT Instagram page.
Stefan has been working as a realtor for the past 8 years serving the Greater Vancouver market.
