Dodge recently unveiled at the annual Spring Festival in Irvine, California the revival of their historic Go Mango paint color on the Dodge Challenger and Charger SRT models, marking this as the fourth time that Dodge has offered cars in their High Impact Color line. Go Mango first debuted on the 1970 Challenger.
Deeply rooted in the brands history, Go Mango combines orange and red hues into a high-impact color which uniquely displays Dodge’s performance minded designs. Those of you who are history buffs will also remember that this color made a brief appearance in 2006 on special edition models.
“High impact colors really speak to Dodge Heritage,” said La Shirl Turner, Head of Colors and Materials at FCA US LLC. “And providing the customer with a color that is as eye-catching as Go Mango and the other High Impact Paint Colors gives them what they want — to get noticed.”
Turner acknowledges that Dodge’s customers play an integral role in the brands’ re-offering of heritage colors noting that they are very savvy when it comes to the history of Dodge and what it stands for.
Go Mango will be available on order sheets immediately at your local dealership. The models included will be the Challenger SRT 392, Challenger SRT Hellcat, Charger SRT 392 and Charger SRT Hellcat.
Unfortunately, since the color is so new there are not many real life photos floating around however we did find one of a 2016 Charger SRT Hellcat from one of the recent auto shows. We also have the official stock photos provided by Dodge to look at as well.
We’d like to hear your opinions below in the comments! Are you a fan of Go Mango? Would you order it for yourself?
